The CSTK St. Louis facility recently had the honor and privilege of hosting Kathy McGrath, General Manager of Thermo King Panama for a tour of our location and operations. Kathy made the long trip up from Central America to get inspiration and design ideas for their new building, which will be opening in 2020. As a part of the global Thermo King dealership network, CSTK was only happy to help.
Here at CSTK, we pride ourselves on having the best, most state-of-the-art facilities at all our locations. We strongly believe that delivering service that you can count on while getting drivers on the road as quickly as possible depends on having great shops to work in. We invest a great deal of time, resources, and energy into making sure that our operations are second to none. Our St. Louis location, with its 16 service bays, 56,000 square feet, and driver’s lounge, was the perfect place to showcase CSTK to our guest from Panama.
“I was very impressed with CSTK and their facilities,” explains Kathy. “We saw so many good ideas that we would love to take back to Panama and use in our own building. Everything from the amenities in the drivers lounge and waiting room area, to the layout of the service and parts sections is just very well thought out and top-of-the-line. We especially liked the job status screens and the view into the shop from the lounge. This keeps the drivers informed of their job status and allows them to see their equipment, but they are not wandering around the mechanics area. It’s the attention to detail that stands out. I’ve always believed, you can usually tell how good a company is by how clean their shop is and how organized their parts department is. Everything about CSTK was impressive, and we are really grateful for the chance to come and look around.”
We’d like to thank Kathy McGrath and Thermo King Panama for letting us show off our building. And we’d like to thank Thermo King for creating such a friendly and collaborative dealer network. We know the new Thermo King Panama facility is going to be amazing and we can’t wait to see the photos (or come down and see for ourselves)!
